The VP of Data will lead data strategy and architecture, manage data engineering teams, and drive data-driven decision making across the organization.

Lead Updater's corporate development strategy by sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Build target pipelines, lead deal execution and diligence, develop valuation models, and drive M&A integration. Advise executive team on market dynamics, identify build-versus-buy opportunities, and maintain relationships with PE, VC, and investment banks to enhance deal flow and strategic growth.

Lead product analytics: build and maintain dbt models and Looker dashboards, define KPIs, analyze funnel and user journeys, design and evaluate A/B tests, size roadmap impact, and deliver partner and ad-hoc insights to inform product and executive decisions.

Serve as first contact for helpdesk tickets, resolve Tier 1/2 issues across macOS/Windows, manage onboarding/offboarding and hardware lifecycle, lead IT knowledge management (Confluence/Helpdesk KB) with machine-readable documentation for AI assistants, and perform Tier 2 SaaS administration (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Intune, Freshservice).

Own and scale a portfolio of high-value service provider partnerships. Manage day-to-day partner relationships, monitor KPIs, audit digital customer journeys and API integrations, optimize partner performance and monetization, present performance reports, negotiate incentives, and handle partnership administration including contract and commission reconciliation.
