Provide guidance on multi-state employment law, especially California, coach managers, improve scalable People processes, and partner with global People, Payroll, Finance, and Legal teams to maintain compliant and effective employment practices.

Own end-to-end delivery of GPU cluster activations and data center infrastructure programs from planning through operational handoff. Coordinate construction, networking, hardware, power, cooling, commissioning, procurement, vendors, and operations across multiple workstreams and regions. Establish program roadmaps, risks, governance, runbooks, and reporting mechanisms while resolving blockers and improving deployment reliability. Present executive status updates, translate technical requirements into actionable plans, and drive scalable automation and process improvements in a fast-moving global environment.

Execute and maintain ISO 27001 and SOC 2 compliance programs, operate Vanta, collect audit evidence, support audits, assess risks and vendors, manage security obligations, maintain regulatory documentation, and translate controls into engineering work. The role also supports customer security reviews, physical security, incident compliance, awareness training, business continuity, and disaster recovery evidence.

Owns Volta’s safety strategy, standards, and management system across construction projects. Leads embedded safety professionals, establishes contractor safety requirements, conducts audits and assurance programs, investigates incidents, develops risk-leading reports, ensures regulatory compliance across European jurisdictions, and integrates safety into project design reviews. The role requires safety leadership across data center or mission-critical construction programs, contractor management expertise, and regular travel across European sites.

Owns Volta’s enterprise contracting strategy across data center and major capital projects. Establishes standard contract forms, flow-downs, commercial terms, governance, approvals, and compliance across jurisdictions. Leads major negotiations, claims avoidance, and disputes while providing functional leadership to project-embedded contracts teams. The role also develops commercial capability across the delivery organization and requires travel across project sites.

Lead product strategy and roadmap for Volta’s Kubernetes-native control plane managing compute, storage, and networking. Manage a team of product managers, partner with platform engineering and operations, prioritize scalable and reliable capabilities, define success metrics, and communicate priorities to customers and leadership.

Own end-to-end delivery of GPU cluster activations and data center infrastructure programs from planning through operational handoff. Coordinate construction, networking, hardware, commissioning, procurement, vendors, and operations across concurrent global deployments. Manage dependencies, risks, technical sequencing, executive communications, deployment processes, and operational readiness while improving reliability, automation, and scalability.

Designs, operates, and automates large-scale AI data center network fabrics using leaf-spine Ethernet, BGP, EVPN, and VXLAN. Develops production Python or Go, builds configuration and validation tooling, exposes network capabilities through APIs, and improves observability. Troubleshoots congestion, packet loss, and control-plane issues; supports cluster bring-up, evaluates vendor designs, participates in on-call response, and collaborates on technical design and code reviews.

Leads procurement across Volta’s AMER portfolio, including category strategy, supplier relationships, sourcing standards, project procurement plans, long-lead equipment, framework agreements, and vendor risk reporting. Manages the regional Category Management team and provides functional leadership to project procurement leads. Partners with delivery, project controls, and legal teams to align procurement with construction schedules and commercial requirements.

Own the strategy and roadmap for workload orchestration and scheduling across Volta’s GPU fleet. Lead product managers, partner with platform engineering on scheduling and resource allocation, prioritize utilization and performance improvements, define orchestration metrics, engage customers and stakeholders, and represent priorities in leadership planning. The role requires significant infrastructure or distributed systems product management experience and a track record of shipping platform products at scale.

Build and operate production platform software for large-scale, Kubernetes-native GPU infrastructure. Design Kubernetes operators and controllers, develop APIs and services, manage compute, storage, networking, and confidential-computing capabilities, and improve observability and reliability. Collaborate with product, operations, and security teams, own services in production, participate in on-call and incident response, and maintain strong engineering, testing, versioning, and CI/CD practices.

Owns project planning and execution for CTO-sponsored technical initiatives and cross-company priorities. Coordinates engineering, product, and delivery teams; prepares executive briefings; tracks decisions, action items, dependencies, timelines, and risks; and supports strategic analysis and initiative scoping. The role requires project management experience supporting senior technical leadership, strong communication, discretion, technical fluency, and comfort in fast-changing environments.

Own post-sale customer relationships for Volta’s compute platform, guiding onboarding, adoption, account health, issue resolution, business reviews, renewals, and expansion. Partner with support, service operations, sales, product, and engineering to advocate for customer needs and deliver value. Build scalable onboarding and customer-success playbooks as the customer base grows.

Lead Volta’s platform engineering organization and strategy for large-scale GPU infrastructure. Own the multi-tenant IaaS, bare-metal management, networking, APIs, customer console, reliability, architecture, and delivery. Build and scale a distributed engineering organization toward 50-plus employees across the US and EU, hire its leadership layer, and maintain strong alignment among software, hardware, infrastructure, security, and product teams. The role requires executive-level technical judgment, production systems experience, and full-time onsite work in Palo Alto with travel across the organization.

Own Volta’s end-to-end event strategy, calendar, budgets, sponsorships, vendor relationships, flagship conferences, and on-site execution. Partner with sales and marketing leadership to define event goals, manage executive participation, capture leads, and convert targeted event conversations into pipeline. Track event performance, ROI, and post-event handoffs while ensuring brand consistency across booths, collateral, and attendee experiences.

Own the strategy and roadmap for Volta’s user-facing platform interfaces, including dashboards, consoles, and APIs. Partner with design, engineering, customer success, and support to deliver intuitive infrastructure experiences, prioritize customer feedback, define usability and adoption metrics, and communicate priorities to stakeholders. The role requires product management experience with developer tools, dashboards, or infrastructure interfaces and the ability to balance technical complexity with customer-focused simplicity.

Owns Volta’s portfolio of technical infrastructure programs, including GPU cluster activations and data center deployments. Leads program managers, coordinates construction, hardware, networking, power, cooling, commissioning, vendors, and operations, and drives execution across concurrent global programs.
