Align teams across organizational boundaries, influence product and engineering roadmaps, remain hands-on with foundational architecture, and grow Lead and Senior Engineers.

Build payment orchestration, fraud and risk capabilities, multi-provider integrations, and global bill payment products. Contribute hands-on to production code and proofs of concept, establish technical direction, mentor engineers, collaborate cross-functionally, and promote AI tools that improve engineering productivity.

Lead the design and implementation of scalable distributed systems, modernize monolithic applications, and improve developer experience through CI/CD, automated testing, refactoring, and TDD. Make major architectural decisions, establish engineering standards, and mentor engineers through complex technical challenges. Collaborate with product owners and designers in an agile environment while building and operating reliable software for millions of users.

Leads global HR business partnering for senior executives and leadership teams, advises on organizational design, employee relations, workforce planning, talent, compliance, and people strategy. Oversees and develops HR partnering teams, collaborates with HR centers of excellence, coaches executive stakeholders, manages complex employee issues, and drives a positive employee experience aligned with Xero’s global people strategy.

Drive net-new business and revenue growth across a territory of accounting and bookkeeping partners. Develop migration strategies, manage partner relationships, conduct client meetings and events, deliver certification training, and educate practices on digital accounting and the Xero platform. Maintain Salesforce data, manage sales cycles, forecast accurately, and independently execute territory plans while traveling regularly for face-to-face client engagements.

Own the strategy and roadmap for Xero’s merchant and transaction payments-risk capabilities. Build scalable systems for KYB/KYC, underwriting, fraud detection, monitoring, disputes, chargebacks, reserves, holds, payout risk, and loss management. Partner with Engineering, Data, Risk, Compliance, and Operations to translate policy into product controls, decisioning workflows, and customer experiences. Use risk and loss data to balance fraud prevention, financial exposure, conversion, friction, and operating costs across processors, payment methods, and markets.

The Solutions Consultant leads technical scoping, workflow mapping, solution design, partner migrations, and implementations for accounting and bookkeeping partners. The role supports sales through product demonstrations and technical consulting, translates complex needs into scalable workflows, identifies risks, resolves technical roadblocks, and gathers feedback to influence product development. It requires accounting or bookkeeping operations experience, cloud accounting ecosystem knowledge, SaaS pre-sales or technical account management experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
