As an Applied AI Engineer, you will create AI systems for Governance, Risk, and Compliance, focusing on accuracy, innovation, and responsible design.

Lead and grow a hands-on engineering team while owning architecture, hiring, shipping cadence, reliability, and security. Architect LLM orchestration and agentic workflows for enterprise scale, enforce CI/CD and observability, partner with the CEO on product and customer technical conversations, and personally participate in hiring and high-velocity shipping.

Build and operate scalable, secure backend services and petabyte-scale AI pipelines powering agentic AI systems. Design infrastructure for retrieval, multi-step AI agents, cloud reliability, and high-security production systems.

Lead design and execution of multi-channel demand generation and ABM campaigns to drive enterprise pipeline. Rapidly experiment with channels, partner with sales and founders to optimize funnel from first touch to closed-won, and scale high-impact tactics targeting CISOs and risk/compliance leaders.

Hands-on engineering leader owning architecture, hiring, shipping cadence, and team culture. Scale engineering from ~5 to 15-20+ engineers, enforce weekly shipping and CI/CD, partner with CEO on product and customer technical conversations, and architect LLM orchestration and agentic workflows for enterprise scale.

Lead full-cycle enterprise sales: prospecting, demos, negotiation, and closing six-figure deals. Build pipeline, refine ICP and messaging with founders, manage multi-stakeholder GRC/IT deals, and relay customer insights to Product and Engineering.

Act as a founder-proxy driving critical 0-to-1 initiatives, executing rapid GTM experiments, building strategic partnerships, and managing investor relations alongside the CEO. Operate with extreme ownership, high autonomy, and rapid execution to unblock teams, scale revenue channels, and launch new product or operational initiatives in a fast-growing enterprise AI/GRC startup.

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable web applications across the full stack. Build responsive front-end UIs, server-side logic, and performant databases. Implement authentication and authorization (MFA, OAuth, RBAC) and integrate security best practices. Use cloud and containerization technologies to deliver high-scale applications.

The GRC Engineer at Zania will manage customer relationships, drive compliance implementations, and provide product feedback, ensuring customer success in GRC initiatives.
