Design and build the cloud platform integrated with the database runtime to enable fast workload placement, elastic scaling, multi-tenant isolation, automated provisioning, upgrades, recovery, observability, and cost-efficient execution across Kubernetes and multi-cloud environments.

Research and implement state-of-the-art vector indexing and retrieval algorithms. Build and optimize high-performance index components (indexing, query paths, quantization, compression, memory layout) for CPU/GPU, design benchmarks, debug performance issues (SIMD, concurrency, I/O), and productionize prototypes for Milvus, Zilliz Cloud, and Vector Lakebase.

The role involves ensuring the reliability and performance of distributed database systems, developing monitoring strategies, and automating operations in a cloud-native environment.

Develop and manage distributed database systems, design core architecture code, and perform performance optimization and testing. Engage with the community.
