Lead SLO/SLI development, incident response, postmortems, chaos engineering, observability, capacity planning, infrastructure architecture, deployment safety, and cost optimization. Partner with engineering, security, product, data, and global teams while guiding SRE practices, technical initiatives, architecture reviews, and operational readiness across real-time media services.

Develop, optimize, and ship video processing, generative video, and 3D reconstruction algorithms (e.g., NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting) across desktop and mobile. Integrate and deploy deep learning models, run research and evaluations, build production-ready modules, and create test environments and tools for runtime verification of video and 3D pipelines.

Build, maintain, and improve highly available ZoomAI and ML service infrastructure. Own CI/CD, deployment pipelines, zero-downtime designs, monitoring automation, incident investigation, and reliability improvements across cloud and containerized environments.

Lead the technical direction for Zoom’s AI-powered virtual agent quality and reliability. Diagnose failures across models, prompts, and architecture; optimize prompts and prompt chains; build evaluation pipelines; and architect scalable production LLM systems. Collaborate across product, model, and engineering teams, mentor engineers, influence the roadmap, and drive measurable improvements in agent accuracy, resolution rates, and customer outcomes.

Develop and optimize video processing applications and algorithms for desktop and mobile. Research and evaluate video processing and neural-rendering methods, implement modular, high-performance code, integrate and deploy deep learning models across Mac, Windows, iOS and Android, and build test environments and tools for runtime verification.

Implement and maintain Oracle Financials Cloud and EPM solutions supporting finance processes including cash management, procure-to-pay, general ledger, fixed assets, leasing, close, consolidation, and account reconciliation. Develop OTBI and BI Publisher reports, workflows, UI personalizations, integrations, web services, and PaaS database solutions using Oracle technologies, SQL, and PL/SQL. Partner with finance stakeholders on transformation initiatives and ongoing systems support.

Develop and enhance the Zoom Phone SDK through cross-platform architecture, feature implementation, testing, debugging, and performance optimization. Analyze SIP and VoIP issues, memory usage, crashes, customer reports, and production problems. Lead frontend architecture and rendering for a large-scale real-time collaborative whiteboard. Define performance standards for frame rate, memory, and latency. Design distributed state management using CRDTs/OT, investigate performance with browser profiling, drive architectural reviews, mentor engineers, and collaborate with backend, design, and PM partners to turn technical constraints into product decisions.

Design and deliver customer-facing features, define architecture and cloud-based automation, create technical and API documentation, troubleshoot and optimize performance, review code and designs, mentor engineers, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning and deep learning algorithms—especially ASR for live captioning—using C++ and Python. Build and optimize Conformer, RNN-T, Transformer encoder, and beam-search based systems, perform distributed GPU training, testing, debugging, and documentation. Work with large-scale computing frameworks and adapt ML technologies to VR/AR, robotics, and interactive products. Design and develop Zoom Contact Center features using Java and Spring Boot. Build secure, scalable microservices and RESTful APIs on AWS (EC2, ECS, ElastiCache, S3) with NoSQL. Translate roadmap into specifications, implement integrations, and drive cloud-based test automation and deployment strategies to ensure performance and stability.
