As our Director, G&A Systems you will be a hands-on leader responsible for critical enterprise applications across the company’s business portfolios. It is a critical, highly visible, senior role who will engage with cross functional business stakeholders in Finance, Legal, HR, Sales, Services and Product to scale our systems and to support our growing business. You will lead a global and expanding team to deliver solutions, automation and scale. This is a full-time position at RingCentral HQ in Belmont, CA.
Responsibilities:
Leadership:
Manage existing EA technology programs, platforms, and services for all lines of business, including the Finance, HR and Legal
Be a voice of the internal customer and help define, communicate, and calibrate goals, metrics, and OKRs as needed
Oversee the development of the EA roadmap and execution of prioritized and approved projects
Ensure compliance with IT quality and security processes and procedures, identifying and addressing any compliance issues
Manage third-party vendors and resources and ensure value-add for deployment on prioritized initiatives
Interface and partner with Business Management Teams
Ability to think critically, solve problems, make decisions and build trust across the organization
Excellent negotiation, influencing, collaboration, communication, and presentation skills,
Build and manage global teams. Guide and coach team members
Effectively remove blockers and mitigate project risks maximizing team productivity and ensuring delivery
Serve as a critical member of the senior leadership team, participating in strategic decision-making, planning and execution
Responsible for status reporting and metrics around the IT portfolio to leadership teams
Partner with management on key business and operational activities
Drive transformation and reimagining how we add the most value to the business
Business Solutions Design & Delivery:
Liaison between the business units, technology teams and support teams
Drive analysis of existing and future state business processes, systems and flows of data
Critically evaluates information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding
Distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs to align with macro vision and strategy
Proactive and takes initiative to gather information, investigate gaps / issues, identifies potential solutions and presents to both Business and IT stakeholders
Work closely with Vendors, Implementation Partners, Architects, Developers and Business Units to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
Facilitate review sessions with functional owners, subject matter experts and end-user representatives
Oversee the project lifecycle for projects and work with various teams to develop project milestones and timelines for development, UAT, production validation and go live
Ensure training and timely communications in accordance with project timelines
Qualifications:
A strong technical leader with a minimum of 10 years of experience in leading a team and/or IT domain experience
Demonstrated ability to provide strategic vision and execution against a strategic plan
Proven experience as a business-focused, credible leader in a large fast-growing technology company
Capable of leading technology change with excellent strategic and technical thought leadership, and a strong focus on delivering customer value
Passion, energy, personal accountability and a desire to lead others to excellence
Experience creating, measuring, and improving business processes
Proven ability to build and lead teams at scale across multiple geographies
Strong presentation, organization, and communication skills (written and verbal) with both technical and non-technical parties
Must exhibit strong security and confidentiality practices with systems that handle sensitive data
Ability to learn a new business domain and build subject matter expertise in a short period
A BS or MS degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science or equivalent work experience in Information Technology
PMP/ CSM / IT certifications a plus
