Title: Machine Learning Engineers
Duties: The Machine Learning Engineers (Multiple Positions Open) at Chime Financial, Inc. in San Francisco, California will design and implement the infrastructure required to train models at scale. Build and implement novel Machine Learning (ML) and Deep Learning systems to combat fraud and minimize the company’s risk. Work with the data team’s infrastructure to build real-time and offline feature databases. Design and implement the infrastructure required to train models at scale and leverage AWS Sagemaker and other tools. Work with Data Team's infrastructure to build real-time and offline feature databases. Scale the Machine Learning system to support more use cases and Machine Learning model types.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a directly related field plus two years of software development experience using Python and C++ languages. The two years of experience must include two years of experience with each of the following: (1) designing, enhancing, testing, and maintaining Machine Learning based software; (2) data infrastructure, data storage and interface systems for real time and batch pipelines including experience with Bigtable, Cassandra, Kafka, MongoDB; (3) building and release tools and processes for ML systems, including experience with model stores and feature stores; (4) building evaluation pipelines, A/B testing and visualization tools for ML models; (5) Machine Learning tools experience including tensorflow and scikit-learn; (6) working with three or more from the following: Natural Language Processing, recommendation system or anomaly detection, ML pipeline orchestration, ML platforms like TFX/Kubernetes; and (7) two years of experience working with distributed and parallel systems that scale to 100s of Terabytes of data and 100s of millions of users.
