Associate Creative Director, Performance Marketing
About the roleÂ
We are hiring for an ACD of Performance Creative on our marketing team. As our expert in performance creative, you will help Chime’s Growth Marketing and Creative teams strategize, concept, and execute exciting new assets to propel our already stellar acquisition machine!
You are inspired by media, motivated by data, and passionate about leading for creativity. You are versed in channel-based best-practices, quick to capitalize on emerging trends, and not afraid to try something new. You design tests based on hypothesis and build frameworks to guide teams towards both innovation and iteration. Your approach is equal parts analytical, logical, and wildly creative.Â
The right person will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, able to coordinate between teams, align to common goals, and can thrive in a start-up culture. This role is all about ensuring our creative delivers against critical metrics, provides actionable insights, and accurately reflects our brand. Â
This job cannot be performed in the state of Colorado.
In this role, you can expect to
- Master the unique balance of delivering top-performing creative while maintaining the sanctity of a brand that is on its way to being a household name
- Study channel trends to develop strategies and hypothesis for both iterative and “big swing” tests
- Lead a team of talented creatives, motivating, guiding, and influencing not just the work, but their personal growth and career development
- Collaborate with Marketing Analytics to develop a system for tagging and tracking creative concepts to uncover patterns and glean insights that become actionable
- Join in hands-on with the team in asset creation when needed
- Evaluate and partner with external agencies to supplement, scale, produce, and test new ideas across channels
- Present work to, collaborate with, and influence stakeholders in growth, acquisition, marketing, and more
- Champion high caliber design throughout Chime. You’re a role model to other designers and other parts of the company
To thrive in this role, you haveÂ
- A Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related design field (or applicable experience)
- 10+ years of professional experience in design with desired 4+ years of history in performance marketing, growth marketing, acquisition, or other relevant work
- 3+ years leading, mentoring, and managing design and creative teams
- Expert abilities in Adobe Creative Suite and proficiency in Figma
- Ownership and Accountability. You are steadfast, reliable, and continuously looking to go above and beyond, both for the company and your team.Â
- Ability to Lead Alongside. You inspire, mentor, and give feedback with a sincere desire to help others grow.Â
- Top-Tier Design Chops. You are a master of design, motion design, and design software. You are able to help the team problem-solve, level up, and improve their designs and every step to tell clear narratives and strengthen the brand.Â
