As part of the Social Impact team, you will be responsible for building and driving growth from an academic reseller channel. 

Come join Unity as an Education Channel Partner Development Manager! You will be pivotal in delivering Unity’s Go-to-Market strategy across our global academic channel programs. You will manage channel relationships, leveraging our technical, product, sales, and marketing organizations to achieve aggressive revenue growth. 

You will be successful in this role because you have the ability to pivot quickly, and work with momentum. You have the strong desire to grow in areas of understanding partner economics,  solution development, and processes in order to take a solution to market.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively hunt and vet new channel partners to build joint strategic business plans and programmatically drive towards key success metrics
  • Solve hard problems with partners - identify internal and external opportunities for growth
  • Manage C-level relationships at key partners, coordinate executive presence when needed 
  • Work with academic and channel leadership to develop and refine revenue producing programs and work closely with sales leaders and teams to deliver specific segment and in-region programs to accelerate demand
  • Work cross functionally with social impact marketing to land positioning and messaging strategies, drive partner engagement, and successful sell through
  • Educate internal sales teams on channel partner services and positioning, acting strategically to help increase average deal size
  • Create a strong trust relationship with partners, achieving adoption of Unity as a backbone of the partner’s business

Requirements

  • Experience managing and growing academic channel partners as well as meeting or exceeding revenue targets and performance objectives
  • Expertise with academic sales cycles
  • Must have strong knowledge of Salesforce CRM
  • Expert level Powerpoint/Google Slides, preparation of executive level presentations
  • Travel up to 50%
