Director, People Operations

As the Director of People Operations, you will over see a team of 10+ inclusive of Talent Acquisition, Operations and HRIS. You will evolve the design and infrastructure of our People processes, programs, and strategy, in support of a delightful employee experience and in service to our mission to inspire people to be their best selves and do their best work. This role will be based in our San Francisco HQ and report directly to the VP, People & Workplace.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee a team of 10-15 people inclusive of talent acquisition, people operations and HRIS teams
  • Bring thought leadership, tailored insights, and strategic perspective to designing, implementing, and continuously improving high-impact People initiatives
  • Partner closely with peers and stakeholders across the People & Culture team to assess existing People programs, processes, and practices, identify gaps and inefficiencies, and drive innovative solutions to enhance the employee experience
  • Enhance and track policies around immigration, internal mobility, relocation and sign on bonuses in conjunction with our team
  • Marry the strategies of attracting and retaining top talent to further an innovation-driven organization
  • Oversee and drive automation efforts across the function to drive focus to high impact areas
  • Champion collaborative cross-functional relationships with recruiting, internal operations, talent operations, learning & development, diversity & inclusion, total rewards, and HR business partners to ensure a best-in-class on-boarding and off-boarding experience for new employees and contingent workers
  • Lead with best practices and proven methodologies for process improvement, scalability, and automation to support long-term growth objectives

The Perspective And Experience You Bring Includes

  • 7+ years of experience designing, building, and driving high-impact and scalable people programs and initiatives for diverse and complex organizations
  • Exceptional project management experience, making you adept at breaking down large-scale, complex problems into clear, ambitious, and manageable milestones
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, as well as a deep understanding of compliance / regulatory requirements, including immigration
  • Proven track record of success in building and developing strong, cross-functional, and high-impact teams
  • Success in effectively operationalizing complex people programs through process optimization, systems integration, end-user education and training, and thoughtful change management

Our office is right across the street from Moscone Center West, just minutes from the BART station and 4th + King Caltrain with shuttle service.
