About the Role

DoorDash is seeking a manager to lead our People Analytics team. We’re a data-driven organization, empowering local economies and our people to do the best work of their careers. This role will seek data-driven insights to attract, develop, and retain the best talent to power and grow DoorDash. You will design and scale our people reporting and analytics within the People Team. In this role you will lead and develop a team of analysts and engineers to develop the tools and insights for our people and decision-makers. You’ll act as coach, project manager, consultant, technology evangelist, data analyst, engineer, and evangelist.

• Set the overall vision and strategy for the People Analytics team, developing and executing against the roadmap
• Lead and develop a team of analysts and engineers, supporting the team, and ensuring productivity and engagement
• Cultivate strong relationships with leaders across the People team and organization to understand people needs
• Develop the insights to help People and business leaders understand and support our workforce
• Build the next version of our Self Service Platform, delivering analytics at scale
• Advance our internal employee surveys and feedback programs, extracting insights, designing interventions and supporting programs. 
• Maintain skills and education in People Analytics research, “best practices”, technology, including and particularly machine learning and AI, and connections with other Analytics leaders.

We’re excited about you because you have…

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
• Demonstrable skill and experience in People / HR Analytics, and/or consulting experience in People/Workforce Analytics
• Substantial experience in data analysis role (analysis, information science, data visualization or other relevant quantitative fields)
• Exceptional interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and presentation) interfacing with all levels of an organization
• Experience leading and developing a high-performing team
• Advanced visualization skills using Tableau, ability to tell a compelling story with data
• Proficiency with SQL, Python (or R), and ETL pipelines
• Understanding of statistical analysis (e.g. hypothesis testing, experimentation, regressions) and familiarity with statistical packages
• Skilled at working with survey data, text analytics, and other forms of unstructured data 
• Self-starter with a high level of discretion with highly sensitive/ confidential data.
• Nice to haves:
• Master’s degree in I-O psychology
• Workday HCM experience
• Tableau certification
