Our marketing team is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to help shape and tell Recurly’s story. As a Content Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for creating, editing and curating relevant and thought-provoking content that adds value to our audiences while further solidifying Recurly’s brand and reputation as the leader in subscription commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, and proofread high-quality content every week including thought-leadership pieces, white papers for Recurly Research, case studies, blog posts, infographics, podcasts, website copy, product marketing copy, emails, press releases, social media, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ghostwrite, turn an executive’s interview into a thoughtful article, blog post, and other content types
  • Manage content calendar and proactively uncover new opportunities for content creation and distribution which align with overall business and marketing objectives
  • Maintain on-going communication with all relevant stakeholders regarding the status of active projects and provide feedback/metrics for completed projects
  • Develop a thorough understanding of our target audience and buyer profiles as well as effective engagement strategies at each stage of the sales cycle
  • Analyze best performing content and report out on the data 
  • Follow SEO best practices

 

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a journalist, content marketer, technical writer or equivalent in-house
  • Excellent writing and communication skills 
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Comfortable using data in your writing, ability to craft narratives around data
  • Ability to work on multiple writing projects in different stages at the same time
  • A bachelor's degree in English/Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent
  • Experience conducting in-depth interviews with subject matter experts, executives and customers 
  • Desire to improve, edit, re-work content based on feedback
  • Previous experience and interest in writing for a B2B technology company (professional services or software preferred)Grammar nerd and lover of the oxford comma is a plus
  • Experience with Hubspot, CoSchedule, Google Analytics
  • A positive, can-do, hustle attitude and desire to make Recurly’s content world-class
