Summary:

 

UserTesting enables brands to get feedback on any experience by connecting them with their target audiences, including people who are part of the UserTesting Panel, a network of potential test participants, as well as a company’s own customers, users, or employees. 
We are looking for a leader to drive our marketing strategy for the UserTesting Panel, including messaging & positioning, acquisition & growth, and campaigns & community. This is a unique opportunity to lead all areas of the marketing funnel for the UserTesting network of potential test participants (B2C), while also impacting enterprise customer marketing (B2B). 
The ideal candidate will be someone who is highly motivated and someone able to seamlessly flex across the different areas of responsibilities for this role. This position will report into the VP of Product Marketing and will have high levels of interaction and exposure across all areas of the business. 

 

  • Develop the overall Panel marketing strategy. Partner with stakeholders across product, engineering, ops, marketing and sales to drive execution.
  • Lead the strategy and execution of acquisition and growth campaigns for Panel. Own the full funnel for new test participant acquisition across all our target geographies. 
  • Define, plan and execute campaigns across multiple digital channels including paid search, display/retargeting, content syndication, etc. Test new channels and optimize performance over time. 
  • Develop campaigns and in-product messaging that help drive new panelist growth and activation. 
  • Create a strategy for engaging with the UserTesting network of test participants across channels, including email, social, in-product, etc. Develop a mix of programs and tactics which may include newsletters, referrals, offers, new product launches, incentives, events and educational content. 
  • Develop compelling messaging and positioning that articulates the benefits of being part of the UserTesting network of test participants. Create compelling messaging that articulates the benefits of the UserTesting Panel for our enterprise customers and our client-facing teams. 
  • Create resources and materials to help enable our internal teams to bring the UserTesting Panel and targeting capabilities to market; build customer-facing resources and materials to help communicate the value of our offerings to our users and buyers.
  • Build and lead a small, but growing team.
  • Represent the voice of the Panel internally and externally.

 

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of relevant marketing experience, including experience with B2C growth, acquisition, or consumer product marketing. Some exposure to B2B marketing and/or experience in marketing for two-sided marketplaces is also a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated success in creating, executing, and scaling customer acquisition programs and campaigns.
  • Proven track record in crafting compelling positioning and messaging.
  • Able to be both player/coach manager who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. Ability to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levels.
  • Analytical, with a strong focus on metrics, measurement, and optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
