OVERVIEW
We’re currently seeking a Marketing Manager to own execution and optimization of our Shopper Acquisition program across our SEM, Paid Social, and Mobile channels. This marketer will be working closely with Instacart’s cross-functional Supply Leadership group to ensure efficient growth and a balanced marketplace.
Sitting within the larger Brand & Marketing team, the Performance Marketing team is responsible for driving growth of both Shopper and Consumer growth. Our Performance Marketing team is highly analytical, we move fast and we’re always focused on delivering quantifiable results!
ABOUT THE JOB
- Drive strategy and execution of Shopper acquisition via our primary channels including but not limited to SEM, Paid Social and Mobile
- Develop channel strategies to meet both short term and long term acquisition goals
- Provide data-driven recommendations to scale acquisition efforts while maintaining efficiency & set-up, optimize and scale Paid Search and Paid Social campaigns
- Identify opportunities for campaign optimization (keyword expansion, bidding, ad copy and landing pages, audiences) and implement a test plan
- Develop a test and learn plan for Paid Social creative
- Partner with Data Science, Analytics, & Product teams to conduct marketing experiments and A/B tests on an ongoing basis
- Track, report and present campaign performance to internal stakeholders
ABOUT YOU
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years digital/performance marketing experience, with at least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Paid search programs
- Thorough understanding of growth marketing and Paid Search trends to expertly scale campaigns profitably & efficiently
- Expert with Google Ads Editor for managing SEM campaigns, familiar with platforms like Kenshoo, SA360, etc.
- Expert with Facebook Ad Manager
- Deep knowledge of all stages of experimentation: everything from KPI selection, test design, and analysis
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with experience with Excel/Google Sheets
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Preferred qualifications
- 2+ years of agency management experience
- Experience with online marketplaces
- Double Bonus: Experience working in the gig economy space
- Apple Search Ad Experience
- Experience with incrementality experimentation
- Experience with OTT & OLV channels
- Beginner to intermediate SQL experience
