We’re looking for a Partner Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team at Recurly. Our marketing team plays a critical role in supporting our overall growth and sales efforts as well as building customer loyalty. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing marketing programs that will elevate our brand, scale distribution through partnership opportunities and position us as a preferred technology partner for the subscription commerce.

Responsibilities

  • Own the partner marketing strategy for our marketing team: goals (OKRs), plan, execution and results.
  • Work with the executive team to identify priorities, develop and execute end-to-end integrated marketing campaigns with our partner community to drive referrals.
  • Responsible for co-marketing opportunities: co-branding, campaigns, events, speaking opportunities, joint research projects involving Recurly Research etc. 
  • Develop joint messaging, solution briefs, training materials, sales enablement kits to equip partners with content that help them promote our subscription and billing platform to their customers.
  • Enable joint white papers, ebooks, webinars, guest blog posts etc to build some brand awareness for Recurly. 
  • Drive engagement with partners through consistent and compelling communications and content including newsletters, blog posts, partner page(s) on our website, etc.
  • Develop a playbook to strengthen our online partner community on social media. 
  • Build strong collaboration with Business Development, Sales, Product, Design and other subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • 5 to 7+ years experience in marketing, with at least 2+ years in partner marketing or channel marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or another related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience organizing and presenting at webinars, industry events.
  • Ability to effectively influence both internal and external stakeholders across all levels to get things done in a time-efficient manner.
  • Results-driven with the ability to analyze results/outcomes of partner programs to inform strategic decisions.
  • Team player who is curious and adept at experimenting with new initiatives to position Recurly as an innovative and leading brand in the subscription market within our partner community.
  • Knowledge of the SaaS, direct-to-buyer businesses, payments and/or finance industry, prior experience at a payment processor or acquiring bank is a plus.
