About Your Role: 


We are looking for an experienced Demand Generation leader to help us scale our demand generation efforts. 

A key leader within the marketing organization as well as the broader go to market team, the Senior Director of Demand Generation will lead a team of experienced demand generation marketers and partner with cross-functional teams across the organization. You will partner with Product Marketing to further develop our use case / vertical specific programs, and with Sales Development & Sales to create a comprehensive account-based marketing plan to target high-value accounts in the markets we're focused on. You will be a powerful combination of strategist and executor who will both lead the team and meaningfully contribute to the daily work of your team.


Who You Are


You are a demand generation pro. You have a consistent track record of driving pipeline and revenue in fast growth SaaS companies. You are an expert in demand marketing and orchestration, with a knack for being strategic and then diving in to help with the tactics. You have working knowledge and past experience with digital marketing, email / direct marketing, field & events, Sales Development, Partner Marketing, and Account Based approaches. You think in terms of revenue and know that the best marketing strategy is one where the customer doesn’t feel any friction.

What You'll Do:

  • Create marketing programs to generate the pipeline needed to achieve the company’s annual revenue target, ensuring that marketing coverage is on target and high quality
  • Collaborate with alliances, sales, and sales development to understand their overall pipeline contributions and report on a company-wide pipeline view
  • Lead and build a unified demand team (campaigns, partner marketing, digital, growth, field and events marketing) and partner closely with Sales Development
  • Manage the marketing program mix and budget and provide recommendations for shifts in investment due to changing conditions / success points
  • Own annual pipeline planning process, create and maintain funnel model, and produce performance reports against targets
  • Continuously seek to maximize marketing investment that fosters testing and experimentation
  • Oversee the team responsible for SMB / mid market / enterprise demand, field & partner marketing, digital marketing, and growth marketing. Regularly report on key metrics and build and mentor team

Experience:

  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience plus 7-10 years experience in demand generation. Grad degree not required, but welcome.
  • Marketing / Sales Technology experience strongly preferred.
  • Analytical mindset
  • Understanding and management of a breadth of demand tactics (digital to physical)
  • Leadership experience (managed large teams, including close alignment with SDR teams)
  • Experience scaling partner marketing programs
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketo, ABM tools such as 6Sense / Terminus / Demandbase and of course, Sendoso
  • Ability to run budget process, including understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in multiple market segments and go to market motions (product led, SMB, Mid Market, Enterprise), with a solid understanding of how each works
  • Creativity and problem solving skills. 
  • Collaboration skills, being able to work with many different personality types
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, able to roll up sleeves and get answers and results
  • Results-oriented
  • Excellent people leadership skills with a proven ability to run high performing teams
  • Excellent writing skills with high editorial standards.
