YOUR MISSION

As the Sr. Growth Analyst on MURAL’s Marketing Analytics team, you will be a critical part of expanding the measurement, data visualization and data storytelling capabilities of a fast-paced, growth-focused Marketing organization. You will partner with a cross functional Growth squad spanning marketing and product. You will conduct in-depth analyses and experiments related to online conversion from acquisition to paid customer and use your findings to make optimization recommendations to Growth squad stakeholders in a way that is engaging, concise and inspires action. You will collaborate with members of the Growth squad and marketing analytics team to define team-level KPIs and create monitoring mechanisms (reports, dashboards) to bring data to life and make it actionable. This position reports to the Marketing Analytics Manager.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, product analytics or a combination.Some product analytics experience is preferred. Experience at a SaaS company or at an agency that works with SaaS companies is also preferred
  • Experience with a high-growth online trial and purchasing motion
  • Experience reporting on, analyzing and making optimization recommendations for digital marketing channels (PPC, SEO, Display, Social)
  • Proficient with SQL. At least 2+ years of experience. Understands how and when to use various types of joins, aggregations, case statements and CTEs. Comfortable with non trivial queries involving 5+ tables. Understands basic query optimization techniques
  • Experience working with unsampled, hit-level event data from Segment, Google Analytics 360, Snowplow or another product/web event tracking solution. Experience using this data to make recommendations
  • Experience with point and click web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Heap. Understands the limitations of point and click tools
  • Experience running experiments and analyzing the results
  • Strong understanding of data visualization best practices
  • Experience creating and maintaining reports and dashboards with a BI tool such as Tableau, Looker or PowerBI
  • Business acumen that allows you to navigate through complexity and ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills to tell data stories to non-technical audience
  • Enjoys being exposed to new ideas, learning new skills and new technologies
  • An entrepreneurial drive to question, innovate and iterate
  • Open to working remotely with a global team
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Ideally you have...

  • Proficiency with Tableau
  • Proficiency with Python
  • Experience working with Intercom or another in-app messaging platform
  • Experience working with Drift
  • Experience working at a product led growth company
