Director of IT Business Systems
About the Role
As Chime’s first Director of IT Business Systems, you will be responsible for leading the strategy, roadmap and implementation of business systems responsible for Financial ERP, HRIS, and Talent systems. Your team will build and own Chime’s internal business systems to ensure we are optimally leveraging tools, while architecting solutions that will scale.
You will partner with business function owners to develop and execute a business systems plan that helps achieve our business goals, reduce security risks, and drive automation, while maintaining reliable and effective operations and systems companywide.
In this role, you can expect to
- Document and identify Business Systems in use and planned for 2022
- Build and manage a team of Business Systems Engineers within the IT Organization
- Identify opportunities for integration and/or automation of those systems
- Develop a team with capabilities to be system administrators where needed
- Create a multi-year technology strategy and vision to support hyper growth
- Work cross-functionally with Finance, Infosec, People Ops, and IT teams
- Support quarterly SOX and ITGC controls process
To thrive in this role, you have
- 7+ years of experience in IT Business Systems
- 5+ years of management experience
- Experience scaling the systems portfolio to support the hyper growth
- A hands-on leadership style, with a scrappy start-up mentality
- Passionate about Financial and Talent Systems
- Strong Financial and HRIS experience
- Ability to architect detailed solutions in the Business and IT space
