Field Marketing Manager

ROLE OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Field Marketing Manager to join our impressive Demand Generation team. This position is responsible for Benchling hosted virtual and in-person events (when safe), managing metrics and reporting, and collaborating cross functionally with sales, marketing and product teams to drive revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Planning, producing, and executing “surprise and delight” field events that are virtual and/or in-person (dinners, lunch and learns, coffee chats, etc)
- Assisting, accelerating, and creating sales opportunities to drive revenue through custom events and field initiatives by working directly with the sales team to identify customers & prospects from target accounts
- Support various other event marketing projects (i.e. - our annual conference, CAB, roadshows)
- Think creatively about customer and prospect personas, and build high-caliber event experiences that are above expectations for attendees
- Supporting internal communication across multiple departments (sales, marketing, customer success) on expectations, goals, deliverables, event logistics, acquisition of attendee & sponsor lists, and performance
- Work with sales and SDR teams to coordinate pre-event outreach and post-event follow up
- Reporting on the impact of field events including managing key metrics such as pipeline, opportunity conversion, and ensuring that attribution is being correctly and properly reported.
- Collaborating with demand gen team on programs that drive engagement as part of integrated campaigns, especially ABM campaigns
ABOUT YOU
- 4+ years of experience in Demand Gen, Field Marketing, or similar role
- SAAS or high growth company experience
- Experience using Salesforce, Pardot (a plus) and SplashThat
- Experience using virtual event platforms such as ZoomWebinar, Welcome etc
- Experience with B2B and Account Based Marketing (ABM)
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including attention to detail
- Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and drive results across teams (including remote colleagues) and at all levels of an organization
- Ability to analyze & interpret metrics around field marketing performance
- Extremely detail-oriented and creative
- Basic understanding of the sales pipeline funnel
- Production experience (a plus)
