Lead Product Manager, Growth Platform
About the Role
The Growth team is on a mission to get our product in the hands of the next 10 million members. We are looking for a Lead Product Manager to lead the Incentives, Experimentation and Personalization Platform (IXP). We are an intensely passionate group with a bias for action, solving for speed and the end-to-end experience of running experiments at scale.Â
In this role, you will lead the development of our product experimentation, instrumentation and incentives capabilities. You will work closely with engineers, analysts, data scientists and product managers across Chime to build our multi-year roadmap to accelerate our time-to-value to members while delivering on our short term business priorities. You will be responsible for setting direction of our experimentation platform including our instrumentation, AB testing and personalization capabilities.Â
The Growth IXP team is also responsible for designing, managing and building systems that reward Chime members for engaging with Chime. You will work closely with Finance to manage our incentives budget, and will drive significant platform growth by designing solutions to complex behavioral problems. For Colorado based roles: In accordance with applicable law, this role has an annual starting salary of $176,000 plus bonus, a competitive equity package, and benefits (see below). The actual pay may be higher depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
- Partner with analysts, data scientists and product managers to define the vision and roadmap for the Experimentation and Personalization capabilities
- Lead, manage and develop highly functional teams, ensuring detailed experimentation methodology and flawless execution that is scalable and sustainable.
- Develop and own the framework for instrumentation, governance, and quality of product experimentation data
- Build relationships with partner teams across Chime working to make it easier to learn about our members through experimentation
- Manage our incentives budget and partener with product managers to define our incentive experimentation plans.
- Design experiments, tactics and timeline for incentive platform features required to solve customer problems to meet business goals
- Establish shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities leading to product execution
- Perform quantitative and qualitative research to identify product opportunities and prioritize your roadmap
- Communicate product plans, benefits and results to all audiences - including Chime’s Executive team
- Partner with marketing, risk, compliance, engineering, design, QA, and analytics teams to build software collaboratively and inclusively
To thrive in this role, you have
- Strong grasp of data science, analytics, instrumentation, product experimentation and personalization (familiarity with Optimizely, Google Optimize, Adobe Target, etc., or internally built platforms)
- Familiarity with performance marketing -understanding of approach, technology, metrics, and tactics used by performance marketers and the customer experiences that will drive growth.
- Experience managing P&Ls and working with analytics and finance teams to monitor, track and optimize budgets.Â
- Strong analytical skills, competence in SQL, and experience with tools for doing data analysis
- An owner’s mindset - you don’t shy away from the hard stuff
- Deep understanding of customer needs, and strong motivation to tackle their problems
- Strong collaboration in team environments but able to act quickly as the decision-maker
