Sage Intacct, voted best workplaces in the bay area for 10 consecutive years, is looking for a Data Governance Program Manager for our Business Intelligence team responsible for the coordination of data management and governance activities. This position requires skills to effectively collaborate across parts of the organization and influence others without reliance on formal authority.

This is a unique opportunity to help define and drive adoption of Data Governance initiatives within our Business Intelligence platform, promote new processes, own business outcomes, and influence strategy.

Responsibilities

• Help define and document data security and privacy standards.
• Partner with business leaders and multi-functional teams across sales, marketing, finance and internal IT to ensure data integrity, privacy and security are in line with internal policies.
• Drive strategic alignment across business units to succeed against company-wide goals
• Develop report metrics and KPI's to measure data quality, to provide confidence to end users
• Assist on high visibility projects and recommend adjustments as needed
• Apply specialized knowledge of industry standards and CRM data structures to align data across systems
• Reconcile data between BI data repositories and original data sources
• Recommend process improvements that will ultimiately improve data quality
• Provide weekly udpates to senior management on project status and overall KPI's
• Always question the status quo to ensure it still applies

Requirements

• Bachelors degree or 5+ years of professional experience maintaining data goverance, data integrity and data quality in a complex mulit-product, multi-channel, multi-region environment
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross functional teams to gather data, prepare work plans, present to leadership teams
• Highly skilled at consolidating large volumes of data to enhance governance and applying structure and reporting around metrics and activities
• Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL
• Solid understanding of star schema data warehouse design
• Solid understanding of Salesforce schema, administration and reporting
• Solid understanding of Tableau and/or Einstein reporting tools
