At Plaid, we believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. We’re on a mission to unlock financial freedom for everyone.

We’re looking for a Design Program Manager to help us deliver a unified, cohesive user experience across all brand and product touchpoints. In this highly visible, first-of-its-kind role, you’ll partner with the Brand Design team to increase their velocity and enable efficient execution of Brand Design projects. Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate with Brand Design, Product Design, Marketing, Growth, Recruiting, Communications, and external vendors to design scaled processes, manage the delivery of brand materials, and most importantly, get things done. You’ll be responsible for making sure teams are unblocked and calmly moving in the right direction with the right support at the right time. You’ll also act as the representative for our Brand Design team when working with partners across the business to provide clarity and confidence in the face of ambiguity.

As part of this role, you’ll join EPDS Operations, a small team of interdisciplinary program managers tasked with delivering best-in-class systems and processes that enable efficient execution of Plaid’s strategy. Our goal is to build a high-impact, high-velocity, and high-trust product development and delivery experience so that Plaid designers, marketers, engineers, product managers, and support specialists can more effectively bring products to market that unlock financial freedom for all.

What excites you

  • Helping to deliver world-class design to a variety of audiences—from large enterprise companies to tech-forward startups to regular people who are learning about how to harness their financial data
  • Designing and overseeing processes and workflows
  • Working with all parts of the business to understand priorities and assist with scheduling work and deliverables
  • Executing end-to-end projects with stakeholders across multiple product areas and/or teams to ensure projects are on track and customer needs are met
  • Partnering with Design and Marketing leaders to align on a shared strategy and resolve blocks that impede progress
  • Collaborating with cross-functional partners within the design organization to improve the overall designer experience

What excites us

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must clearly communicate with team members, vendors, and senior management regarding program details and status
  • Demonstrated understanding and respect for the design practice; an understanding of when to adapt processes to meet the needs of the team
  • Strong problem solving, project management, and organizational skills
  • Consummate team player eager to contribute
  • Strong analytical skills; must integrate data diligence into process design and project management

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
