This is the chance for you to join and lead the new Global PMO team for Unity Solutions.  

Unity has been expanding its features and technology to service more and more creators worldwide. It has formed a Solutions team by merging its Professional Services team with the acquisition of Finger Food ATG, increasing its capacity to service new verticals such as RT3D Industrial applications, Media & Entertainment, as well as its core Games business. The Solutions team  now provides a range of new skills, services, products and technologies to customers looking to go further with Unity and RT3D. Where we have gaps in resources, we also utilize a network of external partners from the development community. 

You will be responsible for transforming the Services organization by leading the new Solutions “PMO” team to manage the new demand and complexity, and driving robust systems and processes. The objective is to ensure a globally scalable and coordinated process for planning and resource allocation, ensuring strong and reliable project management teams and processes are in place, and excellence in operational reporting to management and key stakeholders for all Solutions engagements. 

Working alongside the talented Solutions leadership and engineering teams, as well as with leaders across Unity that sell and deliver services, this is a hands-on role that will be responsible for a large PM team and their delivery to ensure that each engagement is set up for success. You will have a pivotal role in ensuring customer success for Solutions customers from the inception of the opportunity through to its completion and delivery, helping set the agenda for future strategy, services and products for the Solutions team.

It is also a high-profile role, as a key member of the Services leadership team and with high visibility with senior management, customers and likely the need to travel extensively to customers and teams working all over the world.   

Responsibilities

• A centralized view for consistency across engagements and verticals 
• Liaising with the development teams and project managers to ensure we have coherent data driven process and communications on project status and clear paths to resolutions of issues
• Post sales delivery management, scheduling and budgeting of projects and engagements
• Managing a team of individuals across project managers whose primary role is managing the software design, development and deliver process and coordinating with Account Management team in solutions to manage customer success
• Reporting and planning for leadership and Solutions teams that also feeds and informs the account and product roadmap
• Cross-team collaboration with Solutions Team Leadership, Sales Leadership and Operations, Partner management and external partners, and“Sister” teams across Unity who deliver technology and services to cross / up-sell 
• Timelines, budgeting, capacity, contractual requirements and working with the Solutions Leads for the scoping of new work to ensure smooth process for the delivery team

Requirements

• Experience with setting up and managing medium to large software development and ideally SaaS Operations teams and required software planning and tracking systems and processes
• Technical understanding of RT3D technologies, FE and BE solutions and integrations to deliver functional results to clients (does not require engineering skills) 
• Proven track record working on a large number of technically complicated and disparate activities simultaneously
• Gravitas, presence and strength of character to work with senior customer and Unity leaders

Bonus Points

• Experience with managing PMO, Operations teams in Games or RT3D Enterprise teams
• Familiarity with Software Development Management and scheduling SalesForce and/or Financial Force PSA tools
• Second language/s
• RT3D engineering / software development expertise
