Program Manager, R&D Early Career Growth (Mountain View or Remote)
Atlassian is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. The Program Manager, R&D Early Career Growth role will be primarily responsible for driving our existing early career onboarding program and will also have the opportunity to design, develop, and operate additional programs that support our early career employees in R&D, in particular our junior Engineers and Designers.
In this role, you'll get to:
- Drive all aspects of our current global Grad onboarding program “Chapter One”
- Lead the design and development of new programs that support the growth of our early career engineers and designers and roll them out globally.
- Understand deeply our R&D people strategy and innovate on how early career programs fits.
- Partner across stakeholders in R&D, Talent, and HR to drive alignment and execution.
- Develop reporting and data analysis needed to evaluate and track outcomes.
- Track and measure success of the programs and iterate and improvement through feedback.
- Some facilitation and delivery as needed.
On your first day, we'll expect you to have:
- 8+ years of experience in Talent Management or Learning and Development programs or equivalent experience
- Proven knowledge and experience in Program Management
- Validated analytical skills and attention to detail
- Demonstrable ability to execute and improve processes
- Good judgment and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
- You value the customer experience
- Team player with an ability to work both collaboratively and asynchronously
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate across diverse groups with a clear and approachable style
- Proven organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Appreciation for the fact that we work in a global environment that is rapidly changing and growing
It's great, but not required if you have:
- Previous Experience in an Engineering or Design organization
- Previous Experience in Early Career programs
- Expertise in facilitation, training, or coaching
- Possessing a creative approach to problem-solving
- A commitment to excellent customer service and empathy
