We are looking to add a Senior Delivery Manager to our growing team on West Coast. Our ideal candidate is part Solution Architect, part Program Manager, and part consultant. The Senior Delivery Manager will act as a key senior technical resource, partnering with our Account Managers to engage with clients, run projects, and delivery successful solutions. WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Responsible for handling end-to-end delivery and all project related delivery matters
• Take a proactive part in suggesting technologies, tools and approaches
• Responsible for setting up the project from the ground up, as well as advocating for the best engineering practices and tools for effective use
• Contributes to the presales activities including estimations, architecture reviews, and documentation
• Responsible for staffing/resourcing for successful project delivery, proactively supervising technical delivery teams both onshore and offshore
• Drives engagements of the average size of 30-70+ FTEs in total
• Governing the delivery across stakeholders, handling complicated engineering issues, making sure the design, code and overall solution is of top-notch quality. Is completely responsible for the overall customer experience in terms of delivery
• Responsible for developing and executing the succession plan of the projects on their account
• Participates in mentoring and talent development programs for delivery leads and managers

WHAT YOU HAVE

• Experience acting as a Delivery Manager or Solution Architect on complex technical projects
• Domain knowledge of Life Science or Healthcare is nice to have
• 8+ years of experience in software delivery
• 3+ years in positions of Delivery/Team Lead, Solution/Enterprise Architect, or Delivery/Project/Program Manager
• Experience delivering web applications using Java/JavaScript technologies
• Experience in governing project delivery across the board of all stakeholders and proven track record in handling complicated engineering issues, assuring quality and timely delivery
• Strong, proven experience in software engineering with ability to design and deliver sustainable solutions
• Experience in the design and implementation of continuous integration, delivery, and deployment setups
• Agile/Scrum experience is a must
• Professional services experience is preferred
