Position Overview: 

Responsible for management and success of Zoom’s Hybrid Executive Briefing Program and future centers in an effort to support our global sales force in building customer and prospect relationships and closing sales opportunities. This position interacts with key executives and decision makers at the CXO, VP, Director and Manager levels. Responsible for overall strategic program development and execution. 

Essential Duties + Responsibilities: 

  • Drive vision for optimizing customer experience for virtual, on-site and hybrid briefings. 

  • Work with sales counterpart to refine our executive engagement model 

  • Implement structure and process to scale the briefing program across all supported geos. 

  • Have overall responsibility for and ability to manage internal and external executive-level meetings, briefings and events

  • Establish success criteria for briefing quality, including quality of session content, agenda development and discussion leaders

  • Work with sales leadership and enablement to design a tiering system for approving requested briefings. 

  • Represent Zoom in a professional manner in front of prospects and customers, including ability to give high-level presentations and create an extraordinary customer experience

  • Devise a communications plan and evangelize benefits of Executive Briefing Program to sales, marketing and other internal stakeholders

  • Manage and develop the EBC team to embody Zoom customer first attitude and to deliver happiness by going above and beyond. 

  • Be willing and able to assume all aspects of the EBC Briefing Manager’s role through briefing lifecycle

  • Measure, analyze and report briefing program statistics/success/trends to Executive Management

  • Gather and report “Voice of the Customer” feedback to Executive Management and other stakeholder organizations

  • Manage EBC venue to ensure it operates efficiently and contains latest content and technical demonstrations 

  • Liaise with organizations i.e. Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Product Management, Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering) to ensure briefings reflect all the positive aspects of Zoom.

  • Understand Zoom’s strategic selling approach and have familiarity with technology solution offerings

  • Defining annual operating budget requirements

  • Drive EBC program communications, internal and external

Skills:

  • Ability to manage relationships involving diverse parties. Adept at working with all levels of an organization

  • Must have strong evangelical and presentation skills with ability to deliver charismatic and compelling presentations, as well as facilitate discussions with customers

  • Must possess excellent organizational skills

  • Ability to evaluate/analyze requests from sales reps; interpret/recommend agenda topics, involve appropriate discussion leaders and executives and prioritize, manage and facilitate meetings and events

  • Ability to develop and implement program architecture. Ability to create and implement best practices and processes for regional programs

  • Ability to effectively recruit and train program team, as needed. Offer guidance, direction and coaching to Briefing Manager to help them create effective EBC events

Prerequisites (Required)

  • Education: BS in Marketing and/or relevant technology education with marketing experience, 

  • Experience: Minimum 5-8 years in marketing, communications, Communications, IT or technology industry. 

  • Management and events marketing and product marketing experience covering a broad range of current and emerging technologies.

  • Previous EBC experience and affiliation with the Association of Briefing Program Managers (ABPM). 

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

  • Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication; English required

  • Mathematical Skills: Excel spreadsheet/budgeting working knowledge

  • Technical Skills: G Suite, Microsoft 360, Marketing CRM, Salesforce

  • Ability to operate and demo sophisticated IT, A/V and business solution demonstrations

Work Environment and Physical Demands

  • Virtual start until Q3. Then Hybrid environment (part in office, part out)
