The Postmates Product team works on systems that provide the foundation for all of Postmates’ business. As a Technical Project Manager for Product, you will partner with engineers and product managers to drive key projects in the engineering domain and deliver them on time, on budget, and with high quality. You’ll own project planning, scoping and execution, facilitate communication up, down, and sideways, and drive decision making for the project. You’ll represent your projects to executives and work with them on prioritization and escalations. You’ll be working on some of the most critical tasks in the company and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on Postmates’ success. OUR REQUIREMENTS 

• Minimum of 5 years of program/project management in software development, including tracking software delivery process using tools and metrics, or experience in software/system engineering
• Be tenacious. Do whatever it takes to keep your team and the program moving forward
• Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment where teams are empowered to make their own decisions
• Predict what may be around the corner and visualize relationships and product changes that have to be made to alleviate potential concerns.
• Passionate about developing partnerships with cross-functional teams to influence decisions, drive alignment, and prioritization to extend our competitive advantage 
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills, written and verbal, to all levels of the organization
• Experience building roadmaps, release plans, project plans while managing dependencies and with strong attention to details
• Proven track record of delivering projects in large-scale, distributed production systems and 24x7 production environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage external/third party dependencies in complex projects
• Process-oriented but flexible in approach
• Technical proficiency in software development tools
