We are looking for a dynamic, self-driven individual to join the Vendor Management team. As Third-Party Manager, you’ll have a broad range of responsibilities from overseeing third-party ongoing monitoring activities to interfacing with internal business partners to advise and mitigate residual risks. You’ll be a subject matter expert on relevant regulatory requirements, and develop relationships throughout the company to facilitate the Third-Party Management Program (TPMP), with specific focus on continuous monitoring and oversight activities. This role is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter with strong project management and technical/analytical expertise to make a positive impact in an exciting and fast-paced environment.

How You'll Contribute:

  • Implement and administer the third-party risk tool to track and oversee third-party relationships (e.g. monitoring surveys, risk assessments and due diligence refresh)
  • Execute and iterate on the TPMP with primary focus on ongoing monitoring activities
  • Guide and advise business partners on how to proactively manage third-party risks
  • Work with the enterprise risk function, risk subject matter area experts, and business stakeholders to develop and implement standards for identifying and managing third-party risks 
  • Build processes and design technology to automate contract renewal and expiration notifications as well as guide business partners on renewal and/or offboarding procedures
  • Oversee data governance and quality of the third-party inventory to develop periodic reporting of key TPMP metrics 
  • Conduct gap analyses across the program against leading third-party management and FinTech best practices to support TPMP strategic planning and future state implementation.
  • Support sourcing and procurement activities, as time permits

Who You Are:

  • 5+ years of implementation experience across third-party risk management, vendor management, and/or consulting
  • Experience building and scaling risk and vendor management programs across people, process, technology, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of vendor lifecycle management activities
  • Experience implementing third-party risk management tools
  • Adept in developing positive relationships with internal business partners and third parties
  • Solid critical thinking, change management, project management and execution abilities
  • Skilled at building dashboards, process documentation, business and functional requirements, and presentations
  • Ability to work independently and adaptively, and take initiative to resolve challenges

Bonus Points!

  • Relevant financial services or Fintech experience 
  • Familiarity with “OCC Third-Party Relationships: Risk Management Guidance”, Enterprise Risk, Information Security and Privacy regulations
  • Familiarity with Procurement lifecycle activities (onboarding, engagement scoping, negotiation/contracting)
