Design and prototype using biomechanical models and 3D CAD, develop and execute verification/validation and test methods, build test fixtures and automation, perform statistical analysis, support clinical studies, produce FDA/ISO-compliant documentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to translate insights into robust products.

Lead design, build, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines, sandbox databases, and analytics dashboards. Investigate and resolve complex data discrepancies, perform ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance tuning using Databricks, Starburst, Kafka, SQL, and Python. Partner cross-functionally, enforce data governance, document processes, and mentor team members to support research prototyping and business insights.

Lead product strategy and roadmap for orthodontic hardware products, guiding cross-functional engineering, regulatory, quality, and marketing teams through concept, prototyping, verification/validation, and launch. Serve as SME for medical device design control, risk management, regulatory compliance, and post-launch monitoring while driving innovation and competitive differentiation.

Lead SEC reporting and technical accounting for a public company: prepare and review 10-K/10-Q/8-K filings, ensure U.S. GAAP and SEC compliance, manage complex technical accounting (ASC 842, ASC 718, stock compensation, consolidations, impairment), drive SOX/ICFR efforts, coordinate external audits and cross-functional teams, and improve reporting processes and automation.

Lead global revenue accounting process design, governance, and operating model aligned to ASC 606. Standardize Order-to-Cash processes, define policies/controls, drive KPIs and automation, partner with Finance, IT, Sales Ops, and audit, and lead UAT and change adoption to ensure compliant, scalable revenue recognition and reporting.

Own strategy and roadmap for doctor-facing platforms (Invisalign Doctor Site, Practice App). Collaborate with engineering, product, and clinical teams to integrate imaging and planning tools. Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, partnership tradeoffs, and evangelize product internally and at industry events. Align product vision across Invisalign, exocad, and iTero.

Lead Align’s international tax function covering compliance, transfer pricing, US international tax provision, planning, controversy, M&A tax support, and process improvement. Partner cross-functionally to shape global tax strategy, manage audits, drive automation and AI initiatives, and optimize tax outcomes for global operations.

Manage and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads, SA360, and Microsoft Advertising. Execute keyword, audience, bidding, ad copy, budget, and negative keyword strategies. Analyze performance (CPA, CPC, CTR, ROAS), build dashboards, run A/B tests, partner with analytics/creative/CRM teams, and support product launches to drive qualified leads and conversions.

Provide commercial legal support as a strategic partner: draft, negotiate, and review contracts; review marketing and promotional materials for compliance; counsel and train business partners; coach junior legal staff; ensure contract management and policy compliance; and conduct legal research as needed.

Lead research, design, and deployment of signal-processing and machine-learning algorithms for wearable health sensors. Architect pipelines, validate with clinical and real-world datasets, optimize for low-power on-device execution, and collaborate with hardware/firmware/software teams to deliver scalable, robust products.

Lead and harmonize a multi-site Quality Management System for Invisalign, ensuring compliance with FDA QMSR and ISO 13485. Oversee audits, document control, risk management, CAPA, inspections, KPIs, certification strategy, and cross-functional quality initiatives. Mentor quality staff and interface with regulators and executive leadership.

Lead end-to-end data science within R&D: extract and analyze clinical and operational data, build and validate advanced ML/AI and LLM-integrated solutions, translate insights for stakeholders, mentor teams, and drive product innovation for Invisalign.
