Senior Business Systems Analyst responsible for defining enterprise business needs, analyzing customer and order journeys, documenting requirements and integrations, assessing system impacts, and supporting engineering, QA, releases, and production support. The role requires translating complex business problems into scalable solutions across processes, data, applications, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
We’re seeking a Sr. Business Systems Analyst- Contractor to deliver enterprise solutions for customer, pricing, and order-management experience.
You’ll work with Product, Business, Architecture, Engineering, and QA from discovery through production support.
Role expectations
- Define business needs and solution objectives with Product and business teams.
- Analyze end-to-end customer and order journeys.
- Assess enterprise-service impacts with Architecture and Engineering.
- Document requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, process flows, data mappings, and integrations.
- Identify dependencies, gaps, and risks; simplify processes and improve user experiences.
- Support Engineering and QA through design, development, testing, release, and production support.
- Apply systems thinking across processes, data, applications, and integrations; improve analysis practices, solution quality, and team effectiveness.
What we're looking for
- 7 + years of business systems analysis experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience with APIs, REST, JSON/XML, data integrations, SQL, and data mapping.
- Salesforce, SAP, MES, CPQ, order management, or similar platform experience is a plus.
- Curious, proactive, and comfortable with ambiguity; able to translate complex problems into practical, scalable solutions.
