City of Los Altos

Los Altos is the municipal government serving its California community. Its council-manager organization sets local policy and administers public services through departments including community services, police, development services, and public works. The city maintains infrastructure and parks, manages waste and recycling contracts, and provides permitting and civic information. Its mission is to foster a sustainable, vibrant, inclusive community in which to live, work, visit, and play.
