Founding Chief of Staff responsible for building Oath Technologies’ early operational infrastructure. Duties include coordinating with the fiscal sponsor, managing budgets and finances, establishing systems, leading hiring and onboarding, handling people operations, administering vendors and partners, and preparing board and stakeholder materials. The role works closely with the CEO and is expected to grow into Head of Operations or COO-level leadership as the organization expands.

Build and scale formal methods tools for AI oversight, including verified agent containment across OCI containers and Linux isolation primitives. Apply proof assistants and formal verification infrastructure to real systems, run large experiments, iterate on tool designs, and document findings. The role involves owning complex research and engineering problems, collaborating with a small technical team, using AI agents, and helping shape technical direction.

Design and validate research hardware for human and animal neuroscience experiments, including ultrasound systems, electrophysiology implants, headstage interfaces, circuit boards, and test rigs. Translate scientific needs into requirements, guide external engineering partners, improve device portability and robustness, determine what to build internally, manage contractors, and prepare documented, reproducible platforms for outside researchers.

Oversee multi-entity nonprofit accounting, monthly close, consolidations, audits, regulatory reporting, revenue recognition, and internal controls. Build and manage the federal grants compliance program under 2 CFR Part 200, including award monitoring, cost allocation, reporting, and closeout. Lead Finance & Accounting Managers, support budgeting and policy, improve systems and workflows, and transition accounting operations in-house. The role is fully remote with quarterly domestic travel and additional travel as needed.
