Leads product strategy and execution for FutureSearch’s AI forecasting application. Partners with engineering, research, forecasting, and executive leadership to grow an early product-market-fit product into a substantial business. Responsibilities include product discovery, rapid prototyping, end-to-end feature delivery, design, branding, marketing, product maintenance, and public communications in a remote seed-stage startup.

Coordinates a small team of research scientists, balancing rapidly changing research priorities, strategic direction, external deadlines, deliverables, and stakeholder tradeoffs. The role requires high-stakes judgment, negotiation, communication, empathy, and execution under uncertainty. It partners closely with executive leadership to influence frontier AI research strategy and ensure ambitious work is delivered with quality and timeliness.

Leads ambitious, short-term strategic projects from identification through delivery, focusing on breakthrough outcomes. Partners closely with the CEO and Chief of Staff, collaborates across a small team, and builds relationships throughout the organization. Projects may involve investors, grantors, research, business partnerships, conferences, offsites, and AI companies. The role requires pragmatic execution and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts without direct people management.

The Director of Partnerships sources and closes high-value deals with technology and data providers, investors, grantors, customers, and frontier AI labs. The role involves contract negotiation, relationship development, identifying growth opportunities, and influencing the direction of frontier AI. The director works closely with the CEO and VP of Research and travels at least six times annually, primarily near London.

Conduct breakthrough research in AI forecasting, research, and epistemics. Researchers tackle ambiguous problems, run experiments, productionize results, and connect research to product and customer deliverables. The role requires strong quantitative ability, modern AI knowledge, coding-agent proficiency, pragmatic judgment, and rapid execution in a startup environment. Preferred experience includes LLM agents, epistemic research, forecasting, judgment, truth evaluation, and creating AI benchmarks, datasets, or evaluation tasks.

Conduct careful web and document research to develop training and benchmarking tasks for frontier AI models. Responsibilities include retrieving and verifying claims, cross-referencing academic and financial sources, tracking original sources, using research-enabled LLM tools, rapidly learning new domains, and clearly communicating reasoning, uncertainty, and findings in written and verbal formats. This is a fully remote, one-month contract requiring at least 15 hours weekly, with an expected average of 20 hours per week.
