Designs and scales front-end frameworks, shared component libraries, and full-stack services for GoodLeap’s contractor platform. Collaborates with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver secure, reliable, high-performance solutions across the software lifecycle. Leads initiatives, mentors junior engineers, applies AI-driven development practices, and troubleshoots production issues. Requires strong TypeScript, React, Tailwind, AWS, database, API, microservices, and system design experience.

Supports consumer finance loan funding and sales through whole loan purchases, securitizations, revolving credit facilities, investor onboarding, reporting, and covenant monitoring. Builds Excel-based funding and sales models, analyzes loan pools and large datasets, coordinates with investors and vendors, resolves exceptions across internal teams, identifies process improvements, and helps develop capital markets software solutions.

Design, develop, and scale secure payment platforms using microservices, APIs, and micro-frontends integrated with Stripe and other gateways. Collaborate with product and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle, troubleshoot production issues, ensure reliability and performance, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires full-stack development expertise and experience building scalable, resilient payment solutions.

Manage execution of credit and underwriting policies within decisioning platforms. Maintain policy configurations, documentation, version histories, audit trails, and change approvals. Monitor approval, pull-through, override, and policy-drift metrics; identify gaps and communicate risks to senior leaders. Design and evaluate A/B, champion/challenger, and shadow tests, assess credit and fraud vendors, support pilot integrations, and prioritize configuration changes across Product and Engineering while maintaining compliance and portfolio performance.

Designs and develops scalable web applications, APIs, and document lifecycle systems using Node.js and AWS. Builds secure solutions for document generation, signing, and vaulting while translating legal and business requirements into compliant technical implementations. Responsibilities include testing, continuous deployment, code reviews, system optimization, monitoring, troubleshooting, and mentoring engineers. Collaborates with product, engineering, and legal stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-availability document services.

Build, maintain, monitor, and scale enterprise platform services spanning IAM, communications, payments, and API gateways. Design highly available and fault-tolerant products, evaluate technical tradeoffs, contribute to platform roadmaps and technical strategy, and collaborate with product, architecture, and design teams. The role also mentors engineers, promotes software quality and operational excellence, and applies backend platform engineering, API, messaging, DevOps, and AI-assisted development expertise.

Manage translation of underwriting policies into decision-platform configuration, maintain documentation and audit trails, monitor policy performance via dashboards, run experiments (A/B, champion/challenger), coordinate pilots with vendors, and partner with Capital Markets, Product, Engineering, and Credit Risk to prioritize and deliver policy changes that align with portfolio and business intent.

Sources, qualifies, and signs home improvement contractor partners for GoodLeap’s financing programs. Manages inbound and outbound prospecting, explains financial products and legal agreements, coordinates account handoffs, and collaborates with business development leaders to support partner growth. The role also improves sales processes, develops persuasive proposals and presentations, provides business intelligence-driven guidance, and engages executive stakeholders on new and existing programs.
