LA Opera

LA Opera (LAO) is a mission-driven nonprofit organization that plays a vital role in the cultural life of Southern California. Each year, hundreds of employees and artists bring world-class opera to life—preserving, promoting, and advancing the art form while reflecting the diversity, creativity, and pioneering spirit of Los Angeles. Our productions reach more than 100,000 audience members annually at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion and many more through community, education, and Off Grand performances across Los Angeles County.
