Teams at Lunar Energy

Performs hardware validation and reliability testing for home energy products. Designs and builds PCBA test stands, specifies instrumentation, develops Python test automation, analyzes test and field failures, validates countermeasures, collaborates with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and reliability teams, and writes test reports. Contributes to test infrastructure, custom equipment, and codebase improvements.

Designs and automates electrical, thermal, and mechanical test stands for power converters and battery systems. Develops test specifications and plans, executes validation testing, analyzes data, investigates failures, performs root cause analysis, and communicates reliability conclusions. Requires collaboration across electrical, mechanical, firmware, manufacturing, and software disciplines, including Python-based test automation and custom equipment development.

Designs complete PCB layouts for energy storage products, including through-hole, SMT, mixed-signal, high-speed, high-voltage, and high-power boards. Creates schematic symbols and footprints, collaborates with electrical and mechanical engineers on placement and board-level issues, and produces manufacturing documentation. The role also addresses signal and power integrity, thermal and mechanical constraints, manufacturability, PCB materials, stack-up design, and production readiness while driving projects through completion.
