Own technology vendor management for Engineering and Data, with emphasis on AWS and infrastructure cost optimization. Evaluate and select vendors, support build-versus-buy decisions, run proofs of concept, negotiate pricing and SLAs, manage contracts through renewal or termination, forecast vendor spend, and maintain vendor records. Serve as the primary partner for strategic technology vendors, coordinate security and legal reviews, run business reviews, and identify opportunities to consolidate tools and reduce costs.

Build and operate Philo’s ML and LLM infrastructure, including AWS and Kubernetes platforms, GPU scheduling, model serving, inference optimization, monitoring, evaluation, experimentation, and CI/CD. The role establishes infrastructure best practices, reliability, security, scalability, and Infrastructure as Code while supporting recommendation, video classification, and agent workloads. It also involves collaborating with engineers and vendors to deploy, instrument, and manage production systems.

Own business scorecards, dashboards, KPI reporting, and ad-hoc analyses focused on subscriptions, billing, revenue, retention, churn, engagement, and monetization. Translate ambiguous business questions into actionable recommendations, partner with Product, Finance, Marketing, Content, and Operations, and present executive-ready insights. Improve metric governance, data quality, and analytical practices across the organization.
