A comprehensive human service organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of individuals and entire communities in Los Angeles since 1896. Service examples include, educational offerings for Headstart children and families, school programs, homeless shelters and services, recovery programs and services, veteran programs, Upward Bound educational services for young people, and Girls Inc. -- teaching and facilitating self-worth and leadership.
