Own major product areas from strategy and problem definition through launch and iteration. Design Zed’s AI private banker, simplify complex financial experiences, prototype ideas, partner closely with engineers, and maintain quality through production. Collaborate with founders, risk, compliance, and operations while evolving design systems and reusable patterns. The role requires strong interaction and visual design craft, systems thinking, technical fluency, and comfort working in ambiguous, early-stage, 0-to-1 environments.

As a Product Engineer at Zed, you will design and ship backend systems to support banking products, managing features from concept to deployment, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Lead development and deployment of credit, account-management, and fraud ML models using embeddings, transformers, and classical approaches. Own data pipelines, feature engineering from structured and unstructured sources, production monitoring, and cross-team integration while shaping technical strategy and mentoring Juniors.
