The Enterprise Project Manager will oversee client projects from start to finish, translating needs into requirements and managing resources while ensuring effective communication.

As a part-time Enterprise Project Manager you will take charge of guiding client projects from inception to completion. You'll be responsible for translating client needs into technical requirements, managing project resources, and ensuring seamless communication between the client and our team.
This is a part-time contracted 1099 position.
How You'll Contribute
- Guide full project life cycle from requirements gathering to solution design and development, testing, and deployment
- Steering complex Enterprise-level implementations through various stages of development and deployment.
- Support translation of client needs into technical requirements
- Join and lead client-facing discovery sessions.
- Maintain and update Story Navigator as the central repository of project configuration, design, documentation, and user feedback
- Assist in quality testing prior to user testing
- Create and actively manage implementation schedules, project deliverables and milestones to ensure effective completion of project milestones, control project scope and mitigate risks.
- Coordinate client and Idealist Consulting project team meetings and communications, utilizing prescribed project management tools and platform to ensure continuity in communication and project quality
- Produce quality project deliverables, including kickoff presentations, project plans, status reports, budget burn reports, client requirements, design documentation, and deployment plans
- Work closely with client project team to identify, nurture, and guide client team
- Collaborate with Client Success Team and Service Delivery management as needed to resolve project or client communication roadblocks
- Proactively manage multiple, concurrent projects
Your Background Includes:
- Baseline:
- 3-7 years experience in a similar role
- Minimum certification: Salesforce Admin Certification
- Understanding of Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) (Certification preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - including translation of technical requirements to non-technical individuals
- Project management experience
- Familiarity with PROSCI and ADKAR
- Understanding of nonprofit technology projects
- Ability to engage in multiple projects at one time
- Experience managing with both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies
- Creative and analytical thinking with a passion for solving customer problems with software solutions
- Experience in Enterprise-level Implementations, demonstrating a track record of successfully steering complex projects through various stages of development and deployment
- Extra Credit:
- 2+ Salesforce administration with strong declarative design skills and the ability to deliver customer-driven solutions
- Proven experience with NPSP and NPC
- PMP or other related Certification is a strong plus
- Experience managing projects or engaging in projects with technical and cross-functional components
- Previous experience working with nonprofits, experience working in fundraising and program management is a plus
- Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud certifications a plus
- Team leadership experience
Contractor hourly rates are set based on experience, certifications, and specialization. Idealist Consulting reviews all contractor rate bands at least once annually. Independent contractors define their own availability and capacity. Contractors are not employees of Idealist Consulting and are therefore not eligible for benefits such as healthcare coverage and paid time off. Independent contractors are required to carry their own professional liability insurance policy.
