Develop and maintain automated backend and API tests, test backend services, analyze results and logs, maintain test plans and documentation, track defects, and collaborate with development and operations teams. The role requires strong Python and Pytest skills, REST and gRPC testing, Linux and Bash, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, SQL, Kafka or Kibana, and familiarity with microservices and machine learning.
We are looking for a Senior AQA Engineer for a 6-month project.
The customer is a global mobility and urban services platform operating across multiple countries and regions. The platform provides transportation, delivery, and other urban services for a global user base.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated backend/API tests
- Test backend services and analyze results
- Maintain test plans, test cases and documentation
- Identify and track defects
- Collaborate with developers, TechOps and other teams
- Contribute to testing and quality processes
RequirementsRequirements
- 5+ years of overall engineering experience
- 3+ years of test automation experience, mainly backend
- Strong Python + Pytest
- Experience testing REST and gRPC APIs
- Good understanding of microservices / client-server architecture
- Linux + Bash
- Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD
- Basic SQL
- Experience with Kafka and/or Kibana
- Ability to analyze backend service logs
- Basic understanding of Machine Learning
- Practical use of AI assistants in day-to-day engineering work
