Job summary
As a Business operations manager in the Business operations and controls team, you will plan, organize, and execute key operational activities that enable efficient decision-making and well-controlled delivery. You will drive priority-setting, performance reporting, and communication across stakeholders, with a focus on accuracy, responsiveness, and strong follow-through.
Job responsibilities
- Define and maintain key priorities, success measures, and performance reporting aligned to strategic and operating plans
- Build and manage an operating cadence (e.g., routines, forums, materials, and follow-ups) to support consistent execution
- Prepare executive-ready reporting and summaries that highlight progress, risks, issues, and decisions required
- Coordinate across stakeholders to collect inputs, validate information, and resolve blockers to delivery
- Own process management for assigned operational domains, including documentation, controls, and continuous improvement
- Manage action logs, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables to support disciplined execution across initiatives
- Draft and coordinate external communications with borrowers, insurance agents and brokers, and internal risk partners as applicable to the role
- Drive clear, consistent communication across stakeholder groups to support alignment and reduce operational friction
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements that enhance accuracy, timeliness, and transparency
- Support urgent requests by prioritizing effectively, communicating trade-offs, and delivering high-quality outputs under tight timelines
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Finance, or equivalent professional experience
- Advanced analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to interpret data and produce clear insights
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and SharePoint
- Strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to synthesize conclusions and communicate them clearly to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience preparing executive-ready materials with high attention to accuracy and detail
- Strong organization skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Effective stakeholder management skills, including influencing and collaboration across teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas in plain language
- Ability to respond effectively to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Property and casualty insurance license(s) and/or recognized insurance designations
- Experience supporting insurance-related servicing, coverage tracking, or documentation processes
- Strong project management experience coordinating multiple deliverables across stakeholder groups
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives.
- Experience supporting senior leaders (e.g., executive-level communications, materials, and operating routines)

- Work schedules will be full-time in office, on a 40-hour per week schedule.
