Department Summary

Integrated Circuit (IC) group architects, designs, and releases Biosensor chips that enable high throughput of Genomic Sequencing for the Oncology diagnosis market.

This internship position is located in Santa Clara, on-site.  

The Opportunity

• familiarizing with Mixed Signal IC design flow

• writing Python scripts to automate testing or software bring up of IC/circuit board and integration

• work in the lab with test equipment like Logic analyzers, Oscilloscopes on IC validation efforts 

• familiarize with Nanopore Sequencing

Program Highlights

• Intensive 12-weeks full-time (40 hours per week) paid internship.

• Program start dates are in June (Summer) 

• A stipend, based on location, will be provided to help alleviate costs associated with the internship. 

• Ownership of challenging and impactful business-critical projects.

• Work with some of the most talented people in the biotechnology industry.

Who You Are (Required) 

• Required Education:
• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student).
• Or, Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student).

Required Majors: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering

• Required Skills: Program in Python, C, C++

Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting. 

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of  California is $45-$50 hour.  Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
