About Mytra:

We’re creating an entirely new way to solve the most ubiquitous problem in industry - moving and storing material. We’re applying robotics and distributed software to create a new class of product for this $1T market. We’re focused on the supply chain industry first. The industry is in a massive bind with the continued growth of e-commerce, sharp rise in costs, and supply chain disruptions. What has been a “sleepy” industry for decades is now at the epicenter of sustaining the global economy.

Our program is designed for deep integration. We are looking for motivated interns to join us for a dedicated Summer session across the following disciplines:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Firmware Engineering
  • Systems Test Engineering
  • Software Systems Validation
  • Software Interactivity & Tooling Engineering
  • Operations & Supply Chain
  • Systems Engineering

Why Mytra?
  • Mentorship & Ownership: You will be paired with a mentor to guide your development as you take on a specific, high-visibility project.
  • Shape the Future & Scale With Us: We're transforming how goods move and are stored with cutting-edge robotics and AI. Based in our 100,000 sq. ft. Brisbane HQ, you'll work alongside a world-class team building patented technology that's redefining warehouse automation.
  • Join a Scaling Company: We're a Series C company backed by leading investors, scaling rapidly across major enterprise customers. You'll see firsthand what it takes to build and scale transformative robotics.
  • Mission-Driven Culture: At Mytra, we Build Bots, Hire Humans. We automate the repetitive so our team can focus on creativity and problem-solving. Our culture of High-Fidelity Signal means clear communication, thoughtful challenge, and elite execution.

Where You’ll Learn

  • Hands-on product development experience: Gain experience with key stages of the product development lifecycle—including design, prototyping, and testing in a real-world robotics environment
  • Technical skill development: Develop technical skills in areas such as software development, hardware integration, testing methodologies, process documentation, and material flow optimization
  • Problem-solving abilities: Build problem-solving abilities by tackling real engineering challenges in robotics, AI, and automation systems
  • Independent project management: Learn to manage your own scope of work independently, including project planning, execution, testing, and documentation
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Build cross-functional collaboration skills by working alongside mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, software developers, and operations teams
  • Culture immersion: Experience Mytra's culture of high-fidelity communication, rapid iteration, and thoughtful challenge in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment

A Final Note:

At Mytra, we build bots, but we hire humans. We value thoughtful challengers who communicate with clarity and respect, and we’re lifelong learners committed to getting better every day. We move fast, learn faster, and show up for each other under pressure. The best outcomes come from diverse perspectives working together to build something meaningful and built to last.

Benefits Include:

  • Fully subsidized health coverage, including medical (baseline plans), dental, and vision for employees and dependents
  • Fully subsidized lunch and snacks at HQ—we eat and share stories together at the “long” table
  • Commuter benefits, including a up to $150 monthly commuter benefit
  • Lively, modern combined office and lab space where we rapidly iterate through design, build, and test phases
  • Fully equipped onsite gym and showers at headquarters

Pay Notice:

  • Pay for this internship is determined by the candidate's academic year, previous experience, and specific skill set.

This role requires on-site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters, for close collaboration with the other teams.

Deadline to apply is March 31st, 2026.
