Join BKF Engineers as a 2026 IT Intern!

This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting information technology operations at BKF! You will work alongside experienced IT professionals, assisting with technical support, system maintenance, and IT projects, while developing valuable skills in a collaborative and professional environment. The internship schedule is anticipated to be 40 hours per week during the summer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT Help Desk team in providing technical support to end-users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues under supervision.
• Help with installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
• Support IT projects such as software deployments, upgrades, and system testing.
• Maintain and update IT documentation and asset inventories.
• Participate in learning opportunities and collaborate with IT staff on various tasks.
• Follow established IT policies and procedures to ensure security and efficiency.
• Other projects and tasks as needed.

• Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking principles.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn new technologies.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.

• The typical base salary range for this position is $22.00- $27.00 per hour and may vary depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location. This is an hourly position paid bi-weekly.
• This is a temporary position with an anticipated duration of three months. Benefits will not be available for this position beyond those required in the state of California.
