Job Title: 2026 Summer Internship Program (FX/Finance Track)
Location: Houston, TX; (In-person)
Status: Full-time; Temporary (10-week Internship)
Reports to: Managing Director / Sales Leadership
Direct Reports: N/A
Typical Work Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; Monday to Friday

Monex USA is a leader in the foreign exchange (FX) risk management and Business-to-Business payments industry. We provide corporate clients with FX payment solutions and tools to help them manage currency exposure, improve cash flow, and capitalize on global market opportunities.
Monex USA is seeking highly motivated rising seniors with a strong interest in finance, foreign exchange, and global markets to join our 10-week Summer Internship Program. This rotational program offers hands-on exposure across multiple U.S. offices, providing a well-rounded experience within sales, client services, and FX strategy.
This internship is designed for individuals who are eager to learn, intellectually curious, and interested in pursuing a career in financial services, sales, or foreign exchange. Interns will gain direct exposure to Monex USA’s business model, client engagement strategies, and global financial markets.
Program Overview:

  • 10-week structured internship beginning June 15, 2026
  • Rotational experience across U.S. offices
  • Exposure to Sales, Trading/FX Strategy, and Client Services teams
  • Hands-on training, mentorship, and real-world project work
  • Final presentation to senior leadership

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on global markets, currency trends, and industries with FX exposure
  • Support sales teams in identifying and qualifying prospective clients
  • Assist with outbound prospecting efforts and lead generation initiatives
  • Participate in client meetings and internal strategy sessions
  • Analyze client needs and assist in identifying FX risk management solutions
  • Utilize CRM systems to track and manage prospects and client information
  • Collaborate on team projects and present findings to leadership
  • Shadow Sales Directors and learn the full sales cycle process
  • Assist with market analysis and reporting on FX trends

Qualifications:
  • Rising senior (graduating in 2027) pursuing a Bachelor’s degree
  • Major in Finance, Economics, Business, International Business, or related field preferred
  • Strong interest in foreign exchange, financial markets, and global business
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High level of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior internship or coursework related to finance, sales, or economics
  • Familiarity with financial markets or FX concepts
  • Leadership experience in campus organizations or activities

Compensation:
  • The hourly salary range is $23/hour.
