Based at our San Jose, CA headquarters, 8x8, Inc. a leader in the business communications services is looking for a smart and responsible developer for building their state of the art communications software. The web based communication software integrates the variety of services like phone, fax, web collaboration, meeting, video into one unified platform.

Responsibilities

• Create functional, high-performance JavaScript, HTML/CSS layouts from UI/UX requirements and mockups.
• Work with senior backend developers to build a complex, multithreaded, end-to-end application with a fantastic user experience.

• Proficient in Javascript/Javascript Frameworks, HTML5, CSS3, websockets, coffeescript
• .NET or Java experience!
• AngularJS, AngularUI / Bootstrap is a plus
• Mastery of web UI architecture and development practices.
• Understanding of designing/building for crossbrowser compatibility.
• Knowledge of Javascript testing frameworks and mobile web development are a plus.
• Experience with manipulating JSON objects and communicating with APIs.
• Outstanding problemsolving and communication skills.
• Highly motivated and passionate.
