Boeing Commercial Airplanes Customer Support is seeking a 737 Fleet Chief Office Integration Manager (Level K) to join the 737 Fleet Chief Office, located in Seal Beach, California.
As a manager, your primary focus will be to integrate cross-functional teams to evaluate program safety, execute service-related problem projects, and manage as well as integrate airplane performance, reliability, and maintainability data and teams to support the 737 Fleet-ultimately creating value for our customers.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees performing activities within multiple (2 or more) Engineering disciplines.
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Structures, Aerospace, or Aeronautical).
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering roles within the aerospace or aviation industry.
  • 1+ years of experience in leading or managing engineering team.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience specifically with Boeing 737 fleet or commercial airplane support programs.
  • Familiarity with safety evaluation and service-related problem resolution in aerospace programs.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and technical management of external partners.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex, multi-disciplinary projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in developing and motivating employees.
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically dispersed team environment.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $147,050 - $198,950
