Role Objective
We are looking for an experienced Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to manage a high-volume family-based immigration caseload from intake through resolution. This role works closely with our legal team to prepare and file applications for relief, support client interview preparation, and ensure quality and accuracy at every stage of the case. The right person brings deep immigration knowledge, strong attention to detail, and a genuine commitment to client service.
Responsibilities/Duties
- Manage a substantial caseload from inception to resolution, with a focus on family-based immigration relief
- Draft, review, and finalize application packets to firm standards, ensuring all required evidence is included and quality-controlled
- Conduct client interview appointments and prepare clients and documentation for USCIS interview settings
- Respond to USCIS Requests for Evidence promptly and within strict deadlines
- Process revision returns and manage client callbacks in a timely manner
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout their case, explaining processes and managing expectations
- Maintain accurate, organized case files in the firm's legal database
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of high-volume immigration law experience; bachelor's degree preferred
- Expertise in one or more of the following: I-914, I-914B, I-918, I918B, I-360, I-485, I-589, I-42B, bond applications, and family-based petitions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex case types and meet strict deadlines independently
- Fluent bilingual English–Spanish required
- Exceptional communication and client-service skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with legal case management systems; Filevine experience preferred
This is contracted remote position and requires reliable high-speed internet, a reliable computer, headset, microphone, and video camera
Compensation
Mexico: $26k - $30k MXN/month DOE
Colombia: $1,500 - $1,700 USD/month DOE
